how does it work?

Want to pair 2 softs together for an offspring? its simple! you'll need the Breeding egg Item to pair two softs! An egg will create 1-3 offspring.

How to pair 2 softs;
  • Go here (found via Activities > Character Pairing).
  • Select the softs you want to Pair + The breeding item.
  • If both softs are yours you simply need to click "create MYO's" after submitting the pairing and the Pairing slot(s) will appear under "My MYOs" ! if you are Pairing your soft with another member's you'll need to wait on their approval before you can create your slot(s).

tip; You can use the pairing menu to test out potentional color combos even if you dont currently own a breeding item

Pre-generated Color palettes

A general rule is that you do not need to follow the provided colors to a T, they are there serve as rough guidelines of what the offspring should generally look like.

  • You must use atleast 3 colors across all palettes
  • You may use gradients or blend colors (note; the newly blended color does not count towards the minimum 3 colors)
  • You may not ignore the entire palette
editing COlor Palettes;

  1. This design uses design from only one palette.
  2. This design uses colors from several palettes.
  3. Small accent colors not on the provided are allowed with a maximum of 3.
  4. This design only uses 2 colors. A minimum of 3 colors must be used.
  5. In this design, the added  accent color takes over to much of the design.
  6. This design uses none of the provided colors.
editing hue and saturation

  1. This hue edit is minimum and allowed .
  2. This level of saturation editting is allowed. (100%  of original colors)
  3. This level of saturation editting is allowed. (25%  of original colors)
  4. This edit is too drastic in comparison to the palette.
  5. A saturation edit may not turn the palette greyscale.
  6. This brightness edit is too drastic in comparision to the palette.
permissions

By default the person who owns the egg will receive all offspring, it is upto the users to come to an agreement on who gets the offspring(s). Staff will not step in for trade disputes unless there's evidence of deliberate scamming.  (for example, screenshots of a trade discussion between A and B where both agree, and post breeding A claims the discussion never happened)

My slot rolled spikes + no spikes! what do I do?

Currently the roller is unable to exclude contradictory traits so if you roll a contradictory trait simply list during design approval in the comments section which trait you're using and an admin remove the un-used trait after approval.

Example;

"rolled spikes & no spikes, im using spikes"

My slot rolled a wing mutation without having the wings body feature trait, what do I do?

Because wing mutations require the wing body feature to be present you will need to either; ignore these traits and list during approval that they are invalid, and an admin will remove them from the trait list after approval.

Or  you may buy a rare potion + breeding plans from the shop to add the wings body feature to use in order to use the rolled traits.

Are these offsprings canon for my soft?

thats upto you to decide! However for the masterlist purposes any soft created with the pairing system will be related to the soft(s) you used mechanically.

Can subspecies breed?

yes they can! While hybrids do not exist on the ML (it will list it as a standard soft or subspecies, not as a hybrid)  a standard soft can gain subspecies traits if one of their parents is a of a subspecies.

What are the droprates of subspecies?
  • Stardust; 75%
  • pancake; 50%
  • Skyborne; 50%
  • Candle; 25%
  • Blighted; 75%
  • Soul LS; n/a, infertile
