Summary
The Eclipse tribe’s hideout is hidden in plain sight, carved into a fragile cave system right underneath the dark market. This is the youngest tribe of all - although some softs refuse to acknowledge it as a proper tribe at all. Their tactics are underhanded and sly while their motives are fueled by hatred, revenge and greed.
This tribe has an ever fluctuating member count, many die in the crossfire during battles with Warriors or other rogue groups, some blow themselves up with magic on accident or some unlucky few may be executed for treason as the Leader dictates. Eclipse is full of bitter softs who seek revenge, Exiles or desperate souls who have nowhere else to go or perhaps took a bad path in life.
Most if not all softs in the Eclipse tribe are trained to kill in combat and hit weak points. They also employ dark market dealers, blacksmiths and spies.
It's deceptively easy to join the tribe and pledge your allegiance to the leader but no one ever speaks on how dangerous it is to leave until one is already in too deep. ‘Traitors’ may be tracked down and often have to seek refuge in another tribe to stay safe.
The current leader rules their tribe with an iron claw and living conditions are not exactly cozy, yet some of the twisted souls present share a kinship in a shared desire of wanting to re-imagine the scorching.
Some members worship the Poison and Fire elementals, albeit likely for wrong reasons.
Tribe specialties;
- The Eclipse tribe excel at making weapons more than anyone else save for the Warrior tribe, if only they'd use their talents elsewhere.
- Eclipse members have vast knowledge of forbidden and banned topics, including runes.
- Brute strength and Stealth are often seen here.
Customs & traditions;
- It is very rare (though, not impossible) for softlings to be born in this tribe. Despite their lackluster morals young softlings are often rejected unless they show a lot of potential
- having relationships (especially mating another soft) outside of the tribe unless it is to gather intel is strictly forbidden and has varying punishments if found out
Leader Succession System:
Its survival of the fittest, anyone can attack the current leader at any time and it is usually a fight to the death. Whoever takes the head of the previous leader gets the right to lead the tribe further - dead life cores are often kept as trophies.
