SImple; +4 gooney

Simple background refers to small scenes without alot of detail or depth.

complex; +8 gooney

Complex backgrounds show a full scene with alot of detail and effort put into it

What counts as "complex" is different for everyone so members can apply this if they think their time & effort deserves it.

*However, staff may ask you to rescore a piece if the artwork is very obviously simplistic; ie. unclear foreground, middle ground or background or a lack of a clear environment such as a single, undetailed tree or if the push appears super rushed .

other bonuses;

Is your piece a gift for another member? (for example, a gift art headshot) you may add the Giftart criterion and you'll receive a bonus for your kindness!
