As the name implies Skyborne Liquid Softs are way more at home in the skies than they ever are on land. They are blindingly fast, faster than any other subspecies and have a strong alignment to the air element. It's said that it's impossible to track a skyborne down as long as they’re capable of flight and that they’re quite elusive.
Grounded, however? they’re a lot less graceful, known for having awful balance while walking around and lacking in physical strength.

Origin;
The origin of skyborne softs is nothing but a myth passed down, one no one knows is true - not even the skyborne themselves yet they act like it is regardless. The text is as follows, although several parts were lost to time.
Once there was a fragile soft who longed to touch the stars, years upon years she’d stare up at the sky with nothing but sadness and desire. She wasn’t blessed with wings, no, she certainly wasn’t - but she could pray and hope someone would answer her woes.
